Diet Challenge Report Feb 9th

This past week hasn't been as good as I'd like, however I am determined to keep at this and get better. My weight loss reports will be from my Weight Watcher weigh in day which is Weds. So this post will reflect what I lost last week. I am happy to announce that I lost 1.4 pounds!! I just hope this Weds will be a loss as well. I really need to get better at planning and cooking. Things have been stressful at work and I tend to be a stress eater..so I've been trying to watch and not do that too much, or at the very least try and make healthier choices about what I am putting in my mouth. So how is everyone else doing?

Hi Kathy, do you buy fat free snacks?? You should try that. I buy fat free puddings, crackers, etc even cookies and if you wanna snack eat those. Then there not going to kill you. I'm a stress eater too. But these really help me. Give it a try!!

great job on the weight loss. stress eating is a hard habit to break. be careful when working on it that you don't end up binging - blah to binge. try carrots for stress eating, they're sweet and healthy and you gotta love the crunching when you're upset - ok, maybe that's just me.

Keep up the good work! Every pound down is another one closer to your goals. A word of warning about anything that is "fat free." Lots of things that advertise that add extra sugar to make up for the flavor left out when the fat goes. If you don't have a health reason to avoid fat, then it's probably as well to just eat the regular versions. What happens in some snacks is a huge amount of both carbs and fats. Try for snacks that have one or the other, but not both. =)

Also, I find that dark chocolate - and I get the darkest I can with the least sugar (without going to Baker's Chocolate!) - relieves the stress and stops the eating cycle for me, and has way fewer sugars than regular chocolate.
