A belated Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all in blogland...hope you had a nice relaxing day with family and friends.
In November I had another finish for the year.  This was given as a wedding/housewarming present to a wonderful couple that now live in Georgia.  We had the great fortune of sharing Thanksgiving with them while visiting our Son.  Hope the quilt brings them many years of warmth.
Here is a picture of Blue Stars...

I also participated in an online doll quilt/wallhanging swap and made this paper pieced snowflake.

I received this one!  It is already hanging in the sewing room
I made this cute trick or treat bag in October...totally forgot to post a pic

OPAM Finally a Finish!

I finally have a finish!!  The blocks for this quilt were from an online swap a number of years ago.  I really like the colors and the fabric for the border and binding.  It was given to a friend for CASA to give to a needy child.

Cathedral Windows

While at Retreat in June I started and learned how to do Cathedral Windows.  Here is the pincushion that I just finished this past week.

And here my sewing machine setup for the short term until room is painted and Heather goes back to Tallahassee.

Lately all that has been going quilty wise here is moving things around making room for Heather to come home for the summer.  It is so nice having her home!!

I did get a new sewing table and am in the planning stages of how I want the room to look.

Also purchased a day bed for the sewing room!  It is what I have pictured in this room for a long time and I am so happy with it!
Now if anyone can tell me where I hid those paint swatches I would love you forever!!  Heather is going to be a sweetie and do the painting for me!

Also need to be pulling things together to take to the Quilt Retreat next month...that is fast approaching and will be here before I know it....

Here's the new day bed and sewing table!
