Made a great dinner tonight!

We have gotten into the rut of eating out all the time and this week I said I'm going through the crock-pot cookbook and find some meals for this week. We are eating at home!!

Here is tonight's recipe:

East does it spaghetti

2 pounds ground chuck, browned and drained
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
2 - 3 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 cups tomato juice
16 oz dry spaghetti, broken into 4-5 inch pieces
grated Parmesan cheese

1. Combine all ingedients except spaghetti and cheese in a 4 quart (or larger) crockpot.
2. Cover, cook on low 6-8 hours or High 3-5 hours. Turn to high during the last 30 minutes and stir in dry spaghetti. (If spaghetti is not cooked cook another 10 mins and check)
3. Sprinkle individual servings with Parmesan cheese.

Serves 8

** Note ** I used 3 tsp Italian seasoning and it was a little much...next time I will try 2 tsp.
