I am doing a major happy dance here in Florida!!! One we got some much needed rain today! And two I have a finish!!!! This weekend was Quiltathon Weekend hosted by Judy. Thanks Judy for the kick in the butt I needed to sew something. This tablerunner I had made in a class probably a year ago at the LQS...goodness to think I let it lay that long before finishing it. I was so close to having it done. Well Saturday I got the quilting and trimming done. And today I made and attached the binding. I cheated and sewed the binding down using a decorative stitch on my sewing machine. I know I know! You should have sewn that by hand and one of these days I will really do it that way.
On the Stashbusting front I see it's been a few weeks since I've updated my totals.
Fabric added this week 0 yards
Total fabric added this year 11 7/8 yards
Fabric used this week 4 3/4 yards
Total fabric used this year 28 7/8 yards
Total fabric busted this year 17 yards

I am afraid after I go to Paducah my numbers are going to be out of whack!

I like the decorative stitch on the binding!
You better behave this year at Paducah. I'm not going to be there to help (I mean) stop you. ;0) Maybe next year.
why do you 'have' to do it by hand??? I think it looks great just the way it is!!! And it's done, what more could you want!!??! lol!! Great report! And I know what you mean, "why did I leave it" - I have a couple things very close to the finish line, and they are still waiting....... I will do them soon!! I promise!!!
Good job getting yours done!!!
No quilt police here, I LIKE the decorative stitch on the binding! Matches the springy look of the front. Ahhh--spring, I can hardly wait!
