This is my elimination project for February. They are 30's blocks from a couple online swaps I did a few years ago. I did not realize until I put them up on the wall this morning that 4 of them are unbleached muslin and the remaining 8 are bleached or white. So now my deliman begins. I am thinking as I look at them to put the 4 oddballs in each of the 4 corners and then find something to sash each block with to split up the white and cream from being right next to each other. What ideas do you have? I'm open for suggestions!

I think that would be a good way to break them up. Use the 4 "oddballs" on the corners, and it will look like you planned it that way. What about pieced sashing. Nine patch cornerposts, with lights in the outer corners, and then dark, light, dark for the sashing
I agree with Cathy - great idea.
Good ideas...muslin blocks to the corners and sashing. It's a fun sampler quilt!
I think your idea will work beautifully. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

I think I'd just mix them in the bunch ... can't wait to see how you lay out the top.
