Well I have not busted any staash since my last report. I did do some sewing, however no stash was busted as it was for swap blocks and I will get back what I used in blocks. So I guess I can't count that fabric. Darn!
So here goes the report:
Fabric added this week 0 yards
Total fabric added this year 80 yards
Fabric used this week 0 yards
Total fabric used this year 73 1/2 yards
Total fabric busted this year -6 1/2 yards
Not bad considering I did add 80 yards this year! The past day or two I have been going through swap blocks, kits, etc and listing what I have in those realms. My goal is to get some of this out of here this year!

You did good this year, almost a break-even point. One of my goals is to finish up some of those WIPs. They are as much a stash as the fabric is!
Happy New Year!

Can't wait to see what you "bust" in 2010!
You can count the swap blocks as stash out! You are going to get blocks back, but they will be made into a quilt and will therefore be USED! :)
LeeAnn!!! I love you!!! Coolness, that is something I can live with!
I'd count the blocks if they are leaving my home. Why not?
You did a great job this year.
I am looking to work on UFOs and swap blocks for next year. We can do this
I count anything that is used and leaves my house - whether it be cahrms or blocks it should be counted in my opinion. I love doing the stashbusting challenge and hope to continue doing it next year along with our UFO challenge on the site.
Organize, pick and choose the ones you want to finish. And most important--don't forget to start a favorite new one to keep yourself interested!! I always keep 4-6 projects going at once---I flip back and forth from the, and then all of a sudden I have a bunch of finishes. Don't feel like sewing. Iron and organize those scraps. Make a kit. All things you have to have done in order to sew! Think of it as great fun--not a drudgey job!
That's a fantastic effort! Now you can buy some more? Happy Stitching, Ann :-)
