Stash Report Week 2

This week was much better on the busting stash....I finished the Rubber Ducky quilt and the Peek a Boo Bunny is all done except for embellishments.  Also was no buy for the week as well.  Makes me happy!  How did you do this week?  To see how others did on the stash busting front head over to Patchwork Times

Short List/Get it Done/Quiltathon

Judy is hosting a quiltathon that started today and goes through the 13th.  I so hope to have another finish before this weekend is over and progress made on 2 other projects as well.  Today I worked on one of my 4 projects for this month!!!  I am so happy to have that finish so early in the year.  Hopefully it will help to keep me motivated to have more....

Rubber Ducky is a great little quilt to make up for a new baby or a toddler that needs a special blanket to snuggle with.

Design Wall Monday January 7

This week on my design wall is a quick and easy baby quilt.  I got the strips cut out over the holidays and finally got time to sit down and start stitching on it.  The backing is fleece and the strips are flannel, it is going to make a nice gift for a friend of Heather's.

I am going to see if this year I can actually bust some stash and keep up with the reports.  This past week I did not sew anything and I didn't buy anything!!  So my report is boring....but nothing in makes it a great report!  To see how others are doing go over to Judy's she is an awesome cheerleader!

Heather was very happy to unwrap this present!  She wanted a new cell phone case and is a lover of Owls and yep you guessed it, it's and owl case!

January 2013 Getting it done/Short List

I'm joining Vicky over at LAQuilter and participating in The Short List and Judy over at Patchwork Times for Getting it Done  To read more about these click on the short list and Getting it Done and  it will take you to the post.  For the Short List  we are to pick out some projects that we want finished and have until the end of January to accomplish that.  For Getting it Done we are to pick out 4 things we want to get done during that month and post them on the last day of each month.  Hopefully this will make it easier to get some things done around here!

So here is my list:

1. Peek-a- Boo Bunny - need to finish quilting, make binding and attach/sew binding down
2. Santa Sampler - need to finish buttonhole stitching around Santa's/sew together into a top and then quilt and bind
3. Dresdon Bloom - finish sewing points down/make borders/sew together into a top and then quilt and bind
4. Angie's baby blanket - this will made out of fleece and is quilt as you go
